About

Shaped bythe North.

Practical, adaptable building systems for housing and community.

Campbell River, BC

A building has one job: to give people lasting shelter, dignity and connection.

Illu Modular was shaped by a beginning in Northern Canadian construction, where that purpose is impossible to miss.

We use those lessons to design modular spaces that are efficient to build, flexible to use, and made to serve people for the long term.

Formerly Supermod

Same team. New name.

Supermod homes are now built under the Illu Modular name. The people, the factory and the steel-framed system stay the same. The name reflects where we’re going: housing and community buildings, on the coast and in the North.
